As BT Ireland gears up to celebrate its 25^th year as custodian of the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE), the organisation has today announced a fantastic lineup of special acts that will join the 550 projects that young scientists will exhibit at the RDS Dublin from January 09-11.

It all begins with an idea.The Women in STEM Awards held on the 24th of October was a night to remember, celebrating the incredible achievements and innovations of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in Ireland. The event, hosted at The Round Room at Mansion House in Dublin, brought together some of the brightest minds and most influential companies in the industry.

Earlier this week Mastercard had the pleasure of hosting a CWIT Accelerate AI event at the Mastercard Dublin Tech Hub.  The topic was Understanding Data, Bias and Machine Learning  with a central theme of enhancing Responsible AI.  It is more than just about ethics in development—it’s also about diversity and inclusion. Women need to be part of the conversation- in datasets, in development, in research, and in every space where AI is shaping our future. Gender balance means richer, more diverse perspectives, and ultimately better outcomes for all. It’s not just the right thing to do — it is smart business.
