Our collaborative network demonstrates the power of partnership, supporting initiatives led by CWIT and our member companies.

Partnerships

  • STEM Teacher Internships

Piloted by Accenture, DCU, and the 30% Club in 2016, this programme gives pre-service teachers hands-on experience in the tech sector. It challenges misconceptions, showcases diverse career paths, and helps teachers bring real-world STEM insights into the classroom—empowering the next generation, especially girls, to pursue tech careers.

  • Teen Turn

CWIT partners with Teen-Turn to support girls from DEIS schools in exploring tech careers. Through work placements, mentorship, and role models, the programme builds confidence, challenges stereotypes, and helps participants see themselves in STEM—paving the way for more women to enter and thrive in the tech industry.

  • Digital Futures

Digital Futures raises awareness of diverse tech careers through interactive presentations in secondary schools. Aimed at Transition Year students, it also supports 5th and 6th years exploring CAO choices. Delivered by CWIT member companies, the programme reaches over 4,000 students annually across Ireland.

  • Teach We Can

Tech We Can, a PwC initiative, introduces primary school pupils (ages 9–13) to the world of technology. Delivered by CWIT volunteers in schools and online, the sessions aim to spark curiosity and inspire future interest in tech.
