Partnerships

  • STEM Teacher Internships

Piloted by Accenture, DCU, and the 30% Club in 2016, this programme gives pre-service teachers hands-on experience in the tech sector. It challenges misconceptions, showcases diverse career paths, and helps teachers bring real-world STEM insights into the classroom—empowering the next generation, especially girls, to pursue tech careers.

  • Teen Turn

Teen-Turn is an Irish charity dedicated to empowering teenage girls—particularly from underserved communities—by providing hands-on STEM experiences, mentorship, and pathways to tech careers. Through initiatives like summer work placements, after-school programmes, and the Technovation Challenge, Teen-Turn helps participants build confidence and skills for future success. CWiT actively partners with Teen-Turn year-round, driving engagement through key motions such as Project Squad (science fair projects), Technovation mentoring, and Teenturnships. These programmes connect volunteers from CWiT member companies with students, fostering role models and breaking down barriers to entry in technology. Together, we’re shaping Ireland’s next generation of innovators.

  • Tech We Can

Tech We Can, a PwC initiative, introduces primary school pupils (ages 9–13) to the world of technology. Delivered by CWIT volunteers in schools and online, the sessions aim to spark curiosity and inspire future interest in tech.
