Connecting Women in Technology scoops Initiative Award at Women in Tech Awards

10th October, 2019: Connecting Women in Technology (CWIT) was awarded the ‘Initiative’ Award at the Dublin Tech Summit Women in Tech Awards which took place on 10th October in the RDS in Dublin.

Each year, the Women In Tech Initiative recognises one not-for-profit organisation that has demonstrated exceptional initiative to promote women in tech. DTS Women in Tech Awards chose to recognise Connecting Women In Technology in 2019 due to the network’s phenomenal work on programs to attract, retain and promote females in the technology sector in Ireland and in turn attract more girls and women into STEM occupations.

This is a great acknowledgement of the work that CWIT is doing in this space, so thank you to everyone who is working so hard on our programmes and driving our strategy. More details on the award can be found here: https://womenxtech.com/cwit-is-to-receive-the-women-in-tech-initiative-award/
